Grow Gardens created a stunning garden which featured on Grand Designs.

The brief was to create a garden that blended the contemporary clean lines of the client’s new home with the naturalistic planting of mature trees already on her fenland plot.

Greta’s pavilion wears that skin of charred Shou Sugi Ban cladding beautifully, which shimmers like burnished bronze in the fenland sun. The elegant landscaping signals this home’s eastern rots.

Greta wanted there to be a visual reference to the modern materials from her former Asian home.

The floor to ceiling glazing offers beautiful views of the garden and a huge willow tree. 

The effect is a peaceful happy environment with a gorgeous green tapestry.  

The planting also needed to be pest proof.
